New Lipsticks!

So I went a little crazy with the lipsticks purchases this week. I found out that Sears was having a sale on drugstore products and everything was half off! Definitely had to take advantage of that deal. I bought four lipsticks in a variety of springy/summery colors. A great start to my lipstick collection <3 Hope they tickle your kumquats as much as they do mine!

Here are three lipsticks from the Kate collection with Rimmel and one from the Vivid Maybelline Colors collection. I love the packaging of them all with the Kate's looking sleek and chic and the Vivid adding a pop of color. Excuse the cheeky Falsies Mascara. I've heard so much rave about it that I wanted to try for myself!

This is Number 12. In the picture you can see that the lipstick itself seems pretty dark. BUT really it comes off as this pretty orangey coral color, as you can see by the lovely swatch on my hand. Such a summer color and I can't wait to see how it looks once I get a tan. The finish reminds me of the Satin lipsticks by MAC and keeps your lips moisturized all day.

This red fox is number 01. I've been wanting a really rich red lipstick for a while, so I decided to purchase it while it was on sale. Might as well, right? I am in absolute love with this beaut! It gives any look a classic edge and makes me feel like I stepped out of some vintage magazine. It is a RED red with a blue tint and makes my lips look succulent :) It  also has a satin finish and lasts on your lips for a long time!

This is the Vivid collection Hot Plum (900). My camera does not do this lipstick any justice with it's vibrancy. It is this gorgeous fuchsia that would look great on any skin complexion. I love its brightness and it makes me happy looking at it! 

Finally this lipstick (which I forgot to take a picture of the actual lipstick, like a genius!) is Number 104 from the Kate Collection. It is this dainty mauve-esque, blush hue that works for me more like a nude due to the fact that my lips are naturally pretty pink. This baby gives my lips a "your lips but better" look so that I won't look dead with the rest of my face made up. It also has a Satin finish and keeps your lips moisturized!
