Today, since it was going to be a gorgeous day, my friend and I decided to take a trip to downtown DC, around the infamous Smithsonian museums. For someone who lives 15 minutes outside of the city, I rarely ever make the trip, BUT that changes this summer! There are so many great and interesting museums and so many sites to see, I recommend the trip for anyone. Here are a few photos that I took in one of the art museums.
The first thing that took my breath away were these extremely realistic clay sculptures of hands that were each making a unique gesture. The amount of reality given to these sculptures made me feel as if I were looking at actual hands. Plus they reminded me of Thing from the Addams Family!

AMURRICA!
I would love to have something like this in my room. Perhaps saying something different, but it'd be a cool idea right?
This walkway through to the next wing of the museum made me feel like I was going through the twilight zone. Each one of these lights fixtures was blinking at its own pace.
My friend and I posing in this mirror sculpture. You can kind of get a glimpse of my outfit!
Striped Crop Shirt: Vintage/DIY
Loose Jean Pencil Skirt: Urban Outfitters (few years old)

This is the house that Chris Evan will be living in for Captain America 2! Fan girl moment :)
Such a lovely day. See you guys soon with another post of my Rags & Film!
